In a movie making camp for kids in Colorado, your child can let their inner actor out! We offer several types of filmmaking classes for children to learn different aspects of making films. Whether it’s YouTubing or making news broadcasts, children learn about and produce their own films. They gain life skills that they can take anywhere with them as well!
Our students learn how to speak more confidently in public and can speak on camera more effectively as a result. They learn how to utilize their personalities to shine on camera. They also learn valuable communication and social skills. Building relationships and working on a team are part of creating great films, and our classes and summer camps promote our core values of engagement, inspiration, perseverance, passion, positivity, critical thinking, collaboration, and a culture of trust.
We offer classes throughout the year, and, during the summer, our camps are one week long. We also offer fall, winter, and spring break camps. Any time of year, we also offer classes that are eight, 10, and 12 weeks long.
Our News Broadcast camp teaches children how to come up with their own news stories and to deliver them via camera. Children do warm-up games to get ready to act on camera, and they learn how to conduct interviews, write and produce commercials, and they even write and produce the entire news program. They also learn technical skills to do the entire show themselves.
In our YOUthTUBEr class, your child will learn to speak with passion and charisma on camera. Their on-camera presence will improve, and they will learn how to create their own videos while cooperating with other students. They also imagine their stories, film them, and just enjoy creating for the sake of creating. If your child has ever watched YouTube and enjoys it, this class is perfect for them.
Our Mini Movie class is great for your child if they have an active imagination. We will encourage them to use their imagination to create a film themselves. They direct, act in, and produce their own movies from start to finish.
